CAVA Rochas is a Brazilian company that extracts and sells ornamental stones, and has been in the market since 2003. With responsibility, enthusiasm and know-how, we invest in high technology, as well as in the organization of a logistic structure of exceptional strategy. In addition, we care about the environment, wich is why our marble is exctracted efficiently, sustainably and with a minimum amount of waste.
Today, our operations are centered on our Aré Marble quarry, located in the State of Rio de Janeiro, where we extract a porfolio of marbles of exotic, unique and sophisticated beauty.
Unlike most Brazilian marbles, Aré Marble also stands out for its special physical characteristics: compact, hard, with low porosity, low water absorption and high durability, ideal for all types of applications – floors, panels, countertops, sinks and funiture, among others.

Zizinho, Weverton Antonio Robson
Our founder, Weverton Antonio Robson (Zizinho), grew up admiring the beauty of natural stones and documented lessons in this notebook. Until one day, the lessons learned came out from the paper and turned into experience and achievements!
In his trajectory in the section, Zizinho worked with granite and was even the producer of Giallo Veneziano: the best-selling brazilian granite in the world. He was also the first in the world to carry out a simultaneous detonation on three different planes.
His list of conquests is huge, but we can’t forget to mention that the Palace of Justice in Malaysia was build with 5600 m³ of granite managed by Zizinho in 4 months, maintaining his client portfolio.
The years passed and with enthusiasm, responsibility and hard work, Zizinho reached a position of recognition in the natural stone sector in Brazil.
Our founder has been responsible for opening more than 30 quarries of different materials along his career, and since 2003 he has started CAVA Rochas, transferring his attention to Aré Marble. A new marble for a new world!
